The Battle In Seattle

Over the weekend, Mayday USA, a pro-life, pro-family Christian organization, held a public prayer service in Seattle. It turned into a violent riot thanks to “tolerant” leftists.

Mayday USA applied for a legal permit to hold their event in a specific park, but city officials denied the use of that park. Instead, they approved a permit for another park named after Washington’s first openly homosexual state legislator.

It was also part of CHAZ, the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, when radical leftists seized control of Seattle neighborhoods in the summer of 2020.

It’s no coincidence that leftist city officials put conservative Christians in that park. It was a trap.

Sure enough, as the prayer service began, Antifa “creatures” started showing up and began assaulting the Christians. It wasn’t long before Transtifa showed up, and things really sank into debauchery. More than twenty violent leftists were arrested.

Of course, Seattle’s far-left mayor blamed the Christians. He accused them of hosting a “right-wing rally . . . in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent [LGBTQ] neighborhood.”

That’s a shameful tactic known as “victim blaming.” But when conservative Christians gathered at City Hall yesterday to protest the mayor’s outrageous reaction, they were also attacked by hateful leftists.

These vile assaults on Christians got the attention of the Trump administration. Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino warned:

“We have asked our team to fully investigate allegations of targeted violence against religious groups at the Seattle concert. Freedom of religion isn’t a suggestion.”

The “battle in Seattle” is just another stark reminder that America’s culture war over the values we will pass on to our children and grandchildren is very real. And only one side can prevail.
