Another Victim

Ava Moore,18, had her whole life in front of her. She was a recent graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School and had accepted an appointment to the Air Force Academy. Sadly, Ava was killed over the weekend, another innocent victim of the Left’s open border insanity.

Two illegal aliens from Venezuela have been arrested and charged for Ava’s death. These are people Democrats and their media allies are spending vast amounts of political capital to keep in America.

President Trump is doing everything he can to protect Americans like Ava Moore. But the entire legal system has been twisted in such a perverse way that it’s virtually impossible to keep illegal aliens out, and once they are here, it’s even harder to get them out, no matter what crimes they commit.

The Supreme Court’s recent opinions are confusing and disingenuous enough to allow the Left to claim that every illegal alien has a right to an attorney, a right to a trial, a right to appeal, and the right to appeal all the way to the Supreme Court.

This chaos cannot continue!

The president’s authority must be clarified soon in order to get a significant number of illegal aliens out of the country. In the meantime, more Americans will be murdered and raped by illegal aliens, and Democrats don’t care.

Every sovereign nation has the right to secure its borders and decide who gets to come in. Somewhere along the way, we forgot that fundamental concept.

If we don’t get this right and reclaim our right to commonsense immigration policies, history will record that this issue is exactly the sort of thing that killed our “democracy.”

What we’re being told is that when a left-wing president allows an invasion of our country, the courts won’t do a thing to stop it. They have said that repeatedly in past decisions.

They have ruled that immigration is a federal issue controlled exclusively by the executive branch, which has tremendous discretion in the enforcement of our immigration laws. The only solution in our constitutional Republic with its checks and balances is to change political leadership at the ballot box.

Well, we did that. Illegal immigration was one of the top issues in the 2024 election. The message was absolutely clear. Donald Trump repeatedly promised to secure the border, finish the wall, and begin mass deportations.

And the voters supported him. The highest percentage of Hispanic voters in modern history joined with everyone else to give Donald Trump a clear mandate in winning the popular vote and an Electoral College landslide.

Now the same judges and the same media outlets that championed executive authority over immigration are telling President Trump, “No, you can’t do that unless one of nearly 700 federal district court judges allows you to do so.”

This is madness!
