The Newark detention center for illegal aliens has become the Left’s latest pilgrimage site. Leftist political figures gathered outside the center last week to champion the cause of the criminal detainees. 

Their level of anger and emotion was revealing. I haven’t seen so-called “progressives” this angry since the Supreme Court said there’s no abortion “right” in the Constitution. 

Yesterday, the fake Christian religious Left also showed up in Newark.

Representatives of “mainline” Protestant churches locked arms and sang badly while they blocked the entrance to the Newark detention facility. They demanded the names of the illegal aliens locked up there so they could pray for each of them individually. They condemned the detention of the illegal aliens held inside.

Just to be clear, the illegal aliens in the Newark detention center are not folks from Guatemala who were detained while mowing suburban lawns. They’re not Uber drivers who recently arrived in America and are trying to eke out a living. 

These are the worst of the worst. They’re gang members, drug dealers, rapists, child molesters, and murderers.

Never, over the last four years, did I see any “mainline religious leaders” asking for the names of crime victims who were harmed by criminal illegal aliens so they could pray for their families. Not once. I never saw any concern for the children whose bodies were dumped in creeks and ditches by illegal alien murderers.

When praying pro-life Christians were arrested and convicted during the Biden years, their faith was mocked by a judge and they were given long sentences. They were put into a hellhole of a Washington, D.C., prison for praying and singing at the entrance of an abortion clinic. 

I did not see one “mainline religious leader” visiting them in jail, praying for them, and demanding their release. All of those pro-life Christians, by the way, are American citizens.

What is wrong with these “heavenly” church leaders who are defending criminal aliens?! They are siding with vicious criminals first and putting their fellow American citizens last.
